New Logo!
You might have noticed a new banner here on greenerMiami! Maria (aka Manola) has been kind enough to donate her time to creating this.
A graphic will eventually be a part of this as well, just as soon as I can make up my mind on what I want!
"...every little bit counts!" is what we've decided to use for our slogan for now, and comments are of course accepted (on that, and on everything, as always).
GreenerMiami is now 10 weeks old, we'll have almost double the visits this month than we had last month, and I'm having a great time. Thanks to everyone for their support, especially Alesh who also offered to help with the logo. Here's to hoping that greenerMiami can continue to grow, learn, and hopefully make an impact in the future!
Thanks so much to Maria, who has been very patient with me. If you'd like more information about her writing and design services, please visit journeys begin.

Um . . . i liked the aligator!
Congrats!

Looks good.
Jeez...and one more persona for Manola. I'm losing count.

Oh RIck ... I can assure you my insanity is only limited to two personas. Really. Just two. More would be too much, even for Manola. :-)
Alesh, I liked the alligator too but Rebecca needs more time.
Rebecca, it has been great chatting with you over the phone and collaborating toward the success of GM. I'm really happy about all this because a) your cause rocks and b) I think you're already making an impact. I look forward to contributing the occasional article.
I've done my part in the font department, but if anyone out there is accomplished in graphic illustration, please give this wonderful woman a hand!

We've come up with so many options to represent "greener" and "Miami" that I just couldn't figure out which way to go. I'm also trying to keep it to just these 3 colors (green, blue, black), so that if I want to print later, it should be easier.
I told Manola that we'd better just put the font up for now, because I don't want to waste anyone's time, especially when it's free!
We've been through buildings, skylines, alligators, geckos, palm trees, mangroves, and more. Too many options, while still trying to look original! We'll get there eventually!

I don't want to sound ridiculously effusive here so please accept my genuine and deepfelt admiration of what you're doing. I can't tell you how good I feel about you reaching out and others reaching out to you to do collabrative work. That's what it's really about. Anything I can do just ask.
